We start off with a brief introductions where the background and benefits of ice baths are explained. Together we will practice some breathwork excersizes that will help calm the nerves and breathe into the depths of our nervous system. And then 3, 2, 1… can you stay in the bath for up to 5 minutes? Revived and alive we dip in the cenote and enjoy a healthy lunch after.

A powerful prehispanic steam bath ritual. In essence, the ceremony symbolizes death and rebirth wherein the Temazcal itself represents the womb of the mother. A Temazcal ritual is more than a simple steam bath: it’s a ceremony that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual elements, led by a Temazcalero or Temazcalera who guides the ceremony according to ancient customs.
